Advisor: Dr. Zafar Iqbal

Academic Background:
  • PhD Candidate: Materials Science and Engineering - NJIT
  • MS: Materials Science and Engineering - NJIT
  • MS Candidate: Materials Science and Engineering - Sichuan University, Chengdu, P.R. China
  • BS: Materials Science and Engineering - Sichuan University, Chengdu, P.R. China
Research Interests:

Chemical Vapor Deposition of Aligned Single - Walled Carbon Nanotube

Current Research Work:

Built a proper vacuum system for CVD and PECVD process.

Characterized the deposition system of the gas flow, pressure drop and plasma characteristic.

Empirically and theoretically analyzed optimum parameters of deposition of poly-peri-naphthalene (PPN) films from 3,4,9,10-perylene tetracarboxylic dianhydride (PTCDA) by CVD and D.C. PECVD.

Performed characteristic test of the films samples.

Synthesized lanthanum modified (with lanthanum ranging from 0.3 to 0.9 mole ratio in the compound) bismuth titanate thin films by SOL-GEL process.

Determined the optimum annealing temperature(650 oC) for thin film preparation.

Determined the structural, compositional and electrical properties of prepared thin films.
