   Name              : Takuya Matsunaga

  Email               : tm28@njit.edu

Research Advisor : Dr. Lev N. Krasponerov

  Academic Background :

         B.S. in Polymer Science (Japan)

M.S. in Polymer Science (Japan) and Materials Engineering (USA)

Currently Pursuing Phd in Materials Science and Engineering

Work Experience  : 4 years working in Japan as an engineer for optical

coating films used in liquid crystal display

 Research Interest: Nanomaterials and NanoTechnology.

 Current Research Work :

Currently He is working on the  characterization of

nanoparticles formed by the random expansion of supercritical solutions as

well as end product characterization using light scattering techniques.

In the above experiment Takuya is calibrating the an optical setup to observe particle ICCD images.

For conducting his experiments he is using a laser scattering and monitoring system including an excimer laser , ICCD Camera , optical instruments, computers, a pulse generator. the instrument communication with GPIB and RS 232. An home-made RESS generation apparatus is utilized in the particle production.
